Tour Itinerary
- Day 1: Manali to Solang Valley Drive & Trek to Shagadugh
Drive Distance: 14 km (approx. 45–60 minutes).
Trek Distance & Duration: 3 to 5 km | 3 to 5 hours.
Altitude Gain: 6,730 ft to 10,700 ft.
Highlights: Group assembly in Manali near Mall Road. Cross the Beas River near Solang Valley. Hike through steep paths flanked by oak and pine forests. Pitch tents and camp overnight at the lush Shagadugh Alpine Meadows.
- Day 2: Shagadugh to Patalsu Peak Summit & Back to Base Camp
Trek Distance & Duration: 11 to 12 km round trip | 7 to 10 hours.
Altitude Peak: 13,990 ft (4,250 meters).
Highlights: Very early morning summit push. Steep ridge climb over exposed, rocky, and snowy mountain slopes. Zero water resources on the trail—trekkers must carry at least 2 liters of water. Aerial views of Rohtang Pass, Beas Kund, and Deo Tibba from the summit. Return to Shagadugh campsite for dinner
- Day 3: Shagadugh to Solang Valley & Drive Back to Manali
Trek Distance & Duration: 3 to 5 km | 2 to 3 hours downhill.
Highlights: Leisurely morning breakfast at the campsite. Easy downhill retrace of the trail to Solang Valley. Cab transit back to Manali. Perfect timing to book onward Volvo buses or trains leaving after 7:00 PM
